Welcome to S. G. Padayachi Optometrists, where we pride ourselves on quality visioncare, from our family, to yours!
S. G. Padayachi Opticians was established in 1978, by Gops Padayachi, a Dispensing Optician qualified in London UK. Gops quickly grew his practice, first in Pietermaritzburg and then in Durban, where he became a leader in the dispensing field in KZN.
After becoming one of the most well known and prominent opticians in his field, Gops then went on to qualify as an Optometrist in 1999, creating S. G. Padayachi Optometrists, and since then has been providing vision excellence in the eyecare arena, closing the loop in treating his patients with the utmost care.
In 2009, Periniya, his youngest daughter, qualified as an Optometrist and in 2011 completed her Sports Vision postgraduate diploma. She has been a part of his practice ever since and shares the same love for eyecare as her dad.
Together, the S. G. Padayachi Optometrist family will continue to bring quality visioncare, sincere service, and that personal touch to each and every one of our patients and their families.
